Bobby McGee

Mass of Christian burial for Robert Ray “Bobby” McGee, 41, who died Jan. 25 in Berlin, Germany, will be 10:30 a.m. April 1 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Pilsen.

Rosary will be 5:30 p.m. March 31 at the church.

Born April 24, 1981, to Letizia McGee, he moved to Pilsen when his mother married Joseph H. Vinduska in 1994. He graduated from Centre High School in 2000, attended Kansas State University, and graduated in 2006 from the University of Kansas.

He worked in Kansas City on independent films and moved to Berlin, working for 14 years as an independent contractor and crew member on many popular movies.

Survivors include parents Letizia A. and Joseph H. Vinduska; brother Mark H. Vinduska; stepbrothers Joseph R. Vinduska and Michael L. Vinduska; and stepsister Maggie M. Vinduska.

Memorials have been established with Tallgrass Film Association, Wichita, and Pilsen Community Center.
