Christopher A. and Rochelle O. Johnson filed suit Dec. 17 against Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Co. seeking more than $75,000 for injuries caused Oct. 29, 2023, by an underinsured motorist.

Gerald Scott Franzmann was ordered Dec. 13 to pay Newton Healthcare Corp. $4,072.11 plus costs and interest for unpaid medical bills.

Terri Tucker filed a petition Dec. 18 against Mollie Partridge seeking more than $75,000 for damages and injury following a Jan. 17, 2023, accident at the intersection of Division Ave. and Sycamore St. in Peabody. Tucker claims Partridge’s windshield fogged, and she stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake and crashed into the rear of Tucker’s 2013 Saturn Vue. Tucker claims the crash bent the frame of the Saturn and dislodged its radiator. Tucker claims her legs were violently slammed into the dashboard, causing permanent and ongoing damage to her legs that snowballed into a stroke. She claims that because of lack of health insurance and no payment from Partridge’s auto insurance, she is left to pay for surgery and relearning to speak after the stroke. Tucker claims personal injury, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, medical expenses, loss of time, loss of income, and property damage.
