NEW JAILINGS

Austin M. Cooksey, 31, Wichita, arrested Tuesday by a state trooper on suspicion of operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock. Released three hours later on $1,500 surety bond.

Dakota L. Dillashaw, 27, Florence, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Released a day later on $2,500 bond. Previous jailed six times for a total of 186 days between June 12, 2017, and Feb. 16, 2020 — once for two days on court orders, four times for failing to appear in court, and once for allegedly violating probation.

Daven A. Girard, 54, Newton, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 12 hours later on $2,500 surety bond.

Kelsie S. Glenn, 39, Newton, arrested Dec. 22 by Peabody police on suspicion of endangering a child and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Released four hours later on $5,000 surety bond.

John E. Hall-Kennedy, 25, Wichita, jailed Dec. 22 for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $20,000 surety bond. Previously jailed July 30 and 31, 2020, for failing to appear in court and Dec. 19 to 27, 2018, on suspicion of possessing and distributing opiates, opium, narcotics, stimulants, or heroin, and using, distributing, or attempting to distribute drug paraphernalia.

Jason M. Kirkby, 39, Marion jailed for 21 minutes to have his fingerprints taken and released without bail Dec. 21 on suspicion of criminal desecration by unauthorized control of a dead body; interference with law enforcement by concealing, altering, or destroying evidence; and obstructing apprehension or prosecution by concealing a registered offender in a murder case involving his brother, inmate Robert B. Mans. Their father, also facing charges in the April 8, 2020, death of Shalan N. Gannon, 27, Wichita, died Dec. 12 at his home in Canada, rural Marion. Jason Kirkby previously was jailed April 18, 2017, on suspicion of driving on the wrong side of the road.

William R. Shearer, 40, Florence, arrested Dec. 22 by Peabody police on suspicion of endangering a child and possessing a controlled substance, transporting an open container of alcohol, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released three hours later on $6,000 surety bond.
