NEW JAILINGS

Philip D. Heathcock, 54, Florence, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating probation. Released 18½ hours later without bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of 18 days between May 9, 2019, and Sept. 14, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court three times, for allegedly violating probation twice, and on suspicion of possessing and distributing stimulants and of driving as a habitual offender.

Michael S. Newman, 31, Wichita, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating probation twice. Held in lieu of $7,500 bond. Previously jailed Nov. 29 to Dec. 15 for twice failing to appear in court.

Luis C. Perez, 32, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of 77 days between June 14, 2018, and Dec. 7, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders four times, for failing to appear in court four times, for allegedly violating his probation twice, and on suspicion of battery, making a criminal threat, criminal restraint, domestic battery, criminal damage to property, being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs, burglary, criminal trespassing, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Tiffany K. Rose, 35, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 10 hours later on her own recognizance, promising to pay $1,000 if she failed to appear in court.

Brandon S. Toon, 38, Florence, jailed Jan. 25 for failing to appear in court eight times. Held in lieu of $1,500 bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 22 days between May 14, 2020, and Aug. 11, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court 21 times, for allegedly violating probation, and on suspicion of criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing, trafficking in contraband at a correctional facility, driving with a license plate not assigned to the vehicle, three times possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, twice possessing a controlled susbstance, and once possessing stimulants.

Paige L. Williams, 36, Towanda, arrested Saturday by a deputy sheriff on suspicion of felony criminal damage to property. Held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
