William A. Dykens, 37, Hillsboro, was sentenced Aug. 13 to 25 years 10 months in prison followed by lifetime parole for aggravated sodomy, rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and aggravated criminal sodomy. Dismissed were seven counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, two counts of rape, and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Michelle D. Kerston formally was charged Aug. 21 with giving a worthless check.

Christopher D. Frantz formally was charged Aug. 21 with giving a worthless check.

Travis R. Grosse pleaded no contest Aug. 15 to battery and was sentenced to a year’s community corrections and to pay either $100 for attorney fees or $50 for a batterers program he was ordered to take.

William E. Nichols was sentenced July 22 to a year’s probation and ordered to pay $458 for attempted violation of an offender registration act.

Tanner J. Peterson formally was charged Aug. 21 with three counts of giving a worthless check.

Aaron L. Waddell, 49, Peabody, formally was charged Aug. 21 with giving a worthless check.

Dale E. Weber, Florence, pleaded guilty June 27 to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 10.
