Fernando J. Figueroa-Rosello, 47, Wichita, pleaded no contest Dec. 17 to fleeing an officer and vehicular burglary. Charges of vehicular burglary, three counts of theft, failure to yield at stop or yield sign, unlawful use of turn signals, and driving on the left side of the road were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 2.

Curtis A. Helton was sentenced Dec. 18 to 18 months’ probation for possession of methamphetamine and was ordered to pay $1,058.

Kirby A. Jahnke, 52, Florence, was sentenced Dec. 23 to 18 months’ probation for forgery and was ordered to pay $713. Charges of aggravated battery and criminal restraint filed June 6, 2023, against Jahnke were dismissed Aug. 30. The dismissal was filed in court Dec. 16.

Lathan A. Moataane pleaded no contest Dec. 23 to battery. A charge of assault was dismissed. He was sentenced to a year’s probation and was ordered to pay $263.

Brent A. Paquette, 31, Peabody, pleaded guilty Dec. 23 to domestic battery and was sentenced to a year’s probation and was ordered to pay $263. A charge of criminal restraint was dismissed.

A bench warrant was issued Dec. 23 for Miranda E. Parman for failure to appear in court.

Taylor J. Sutton, 25, no address listed on jail records, pleaded no contest Dec. 23 to an amended charge of attempted violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act. Sentencing is scheduled for March 10.
