April 27

8:33 a.m. — A person who was dizzy and having trouble getting into a vehicle in the 700 block of N. Elm St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

10:56 a.m. — A St. Luke Hospital patient was transferred to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.

3:11 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a gas meter that was hit by a car near 7th and Topeka Sts.

6:01 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Ascension Via-Christi St. Francis, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

7:26 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to a possible gas leak in the 600 block of Topeka St., Lincolnville.

9:41 p.m. — A 70-year-old man who was ill in the 300 block of N. Sycamore St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance.

3:47 p.m. — A Hillsboro Community Hospital patient was transferred to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:10 p.m. — A 75-year-old woman who fell near 120th and Indigo Rds. was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

10:42 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to HCH by Marion ambulance.

12:25 a.m. — A 79-year-old man who was dizzy in Hillsboro was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:53 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:17 a.m. — Durham firefighters were called to a residential fire alarm in the 500 block of Lawrence Ave. No smoke or fire was found.

2:24 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to an alarm at Parkside Homes. The alarm system was being worked on and the firefighters were canceled.

9:37 p.m. — Peabody firefighters, Peabody rescue and Peabody and Hillsboro ambulance were called to a two-vehicle accident near Limestone Rd. and US-50. One person was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

friday

11:13 a.m. — An 83-year-old woman with an unknown medical emergency in the 700 block of E. Sherman St., Marion, was reported by a medical alarm company. It was an accidental push.

4:02 p.m. — A man who shot himself in the 300 block of E. Crane St., Lost Springs, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance, where they met an air ambulance. Tampa ambulance was also on scene.

saturday

12:08 a.m. — Marion, Peabody, and Florence firefighters, Marion rescue, and Hillsboro, Florence, Peabody and Marion ambulances were called to a two-vehicle accident near Sunflower Rd. and US-50. One person was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance and one person was taken to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita by Marion ambulance. Tampa ambulance staged in Pilsen.

3:29 p.m. — Tampa firefighters were called to hay bales on fire near 350th and Falcon Rds.

6:29 p.m. — A 78-year-old woman who fell down some stairs in the 100 block of S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:31 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:30 a.m. — A 50-year-old resident who fell at Salem Home, Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:06 p.m. — A 90-year-old man with chest pains in the 200 block of Juniper St., Hillsboro, was taken to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.

3:59 p.m. — A 77-year-old St. Luke patient was transferred to Wesley by Marion ambulance.

11:24 p.m. — Law enforcement officers summoned Marion ambulance to Welch and Cedar Sts.

monday

10:16 a.m. — A 100-year-old man who fell in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, was taken to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.

12:31 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.

2:37 p.m. — A 58-year-old man who slipped out of his wheelchair in the 300 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

3:46 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.
