Glynn Scott

Services for Glynn Ann (Williams) Scott, 64, who died Sept. 28 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Herington VFW post.

Born May 14, 1960, in Smithville, Missouri, to Delano “Harvey” Williams and Georgie Lee Garrison, she attended high school in Dearborn, Missouri, graduating in 1979.

Later that year, she enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1985.

While in the Army, she met and later married Robert W. Scott. They later separated.

After leaving the service, she spent more than 30 years preparing and serving meals for nursing home residents in Herington.

Survivors include sons Robert Scott of Hillsboro and Anthony Scott of Abilene, daughter Jessica Clark of Salina, sister Dana Cole of Lost Springs, brother Michael Williams of Herington, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Her parents, daughter Kristina Isom, sister Rhonda Jo Meadows, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with Legacy at Herington nursing home.
