Hillsboro names students of month

Junior Adrian Unruh and senior Katie Rempel have been named students of the month for January at Hillsboro High School.

Adrian, son of Tim and Alissa Unruh, enjoys drawing, listen to music, taking pictures, and spending time at Rhubarb Market.

His favorite subject is art/project management. He helps with hair and makeup for musicals and the spring play, is in band and choir, and participates in cheer squad and the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church youth group.

Katie, daughter of Robert and Sara Rempel, enjoys kayaking, biking, playing piano and ukulele, watching movies, and traveling.

Her favorite subject is English. She is involved in tennis, swimming, student council, National Honor Society, and the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church youth group. She also keeps a rating list for every chai tea she has tried.
