Lloyd Klassen

Services for Lloyd Klassen, 88, rural Hillsboro, who died Friday at Hillsboro Community Hospital, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren church.

Pastor Jeff Wintermote will lead the services. Relatives will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Born Jan. 16, 1935, in Hillsboro to Sam and Hulda (Plett) Klassen, he married Evalina Hodel on Aug. 24, 1954 at Hillsboro M.B. Church.

She survives along with sons Delton Klassen of Halstead and Dale Klassen of rural Hillsboro; daughters Brenda Frantz of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Diane Loewen of Hutchinson; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Brothers Virgil and Jerry Klassen preceded him in death.

Memorials have been established with the hospital and church.
