Marion bats power doubleheader sweep

Marion baseball swept Sedgwick 10-9 and 21-14 Friday
The girls’ softball team didn’t have the same luck, losing both games 16-1 and 23-1.
Softball season has come to a close for Marion but baseball will have one more game before post-season play.
Marion baseball will travel Tuesday to Moundridge.
After that, regionals will be set for both softball and baseball May 14th-21st.
Hillsboro
Hillsboro softball has picked up momentum these past few weeks, winning both games Friday against Nickerson, 15-5 and 14-4.
The Trojan baseball team split the series against Nickerson, winning the first game 10-6, but lost the second 10-9.
On Monday, Hillsboro was host to Council Grove. The girls lost their first game, 12-2, but got revenge in the second game, winning 13-12 .
The boys were unable to answer back against Council Grove, losing both games, 13-4 and 13-2.
The Trojans will be back home Friday, hosting Pratt for their last regular season game before the post-season.
