The compilation of the Marion County Honor Roll has been a long and arduous task but the work is about completed and the book will be ready for delivery about June 1st. There will be 1,000 copies published. It will contain 768 pictures of men and women in service, along with special features and history.

A fine old-fashioned time was enjoyed by a large crowd Monday evening at the spelling bee which was planned and carried out by the women of the Federated church. Mrs. A.S. Quisenberry won the prize in the match.

The Treasury Department is now ready to make exchanges of temporary coupon bonds of the Third Liberty Loan. The State Bank of Commerce offers to undertake such exchanges of bonds for its customers without expense to the holders. Josiah Good, Cashier.

Miss Carrie Miller, who had a photograph gallery here for years and recently closed out, has opened at her home on the hill a room for development of Kodak films.

The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs will have a box supper at their hall on March 31. There will also be a program. All Rebekahs are expected to bring boxes.
