Raymond Remmers

Services for Raymond Remmers, 79, Hillsboro, who died Saturday at Salem Home, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.

Pastor Rev. John Werner will officiate. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born June 4, 1944, in rural Marion to Edward and Rosa (Schroer) Remmers, he married Theresa Dirks on Aug. 27, 1995, at Zion Church

She survives along with sons Kent Remmers of Lake City and Darcy Wedel of Great Bend; daughters Kimbra Kroupa of Lincolnville; Dana Wedel of Portland, Oregon; and Dara Wedel of Fresno, California; sisters Vera Wooldridge of Colorado Springs and Joyce Mott of Manhattan; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Brothers Howard and Max preceded him in death.

Memorials have been established with the church amd Salem Home.
